Most superheroes come into their power BEFORE birthing four babies... Miranda isn't most superheroes.
Miranda Gold is perfectly content with the monotonous chaos of her life. She is stay-at-home mom and a loving wife to her still-sexy-after-all-these-years husband, Jake. Everything changes when she begins to hear voices and see strange creatures. She is sure she is losing her mind already, when a young stranger enters her world, complicating things further. George shows up at her door with the most unlikely of explanations for the oddities around her, and a solution Miranda is sure has to be a joke.
Her life is further complicated when her husband returns from a trip to Las Vegas with a newly insatiable sexual appetite.
Can a middle-aged mom learn new tricks? Can she train fast enough to protect the world, or, at the very least, her family? And can she figure out what is up with her husband before he totally burns her, their marriage, and their mattress, out?

With a monster targeting Miranda’s friends, can she forgive herself in time to save them?
Since rescuing my husband from the bed of four goddesses, I've been training hard with my docent, while maintaining my supermom status. But my hardest task is repairing my relationship with Jake. We have a long way to go until we are close to back to our normal, but it feels like every day we tackle something new that brings us that much closer.
As the husband of the Guardian, I’m terrified every day that I will lose Miranda. Combine that fear with what happened in Las Vegas six months ago and the tension between George and me is considerable. But, I need to support my wife. We need to be a team if we’re going to get through all of this in one piece. I just hope Miranda lets me help.
When I became Miranda’s trainer, I didn’t realize that meant training Jake, too. No docent before me has ever had to deal with, I mean train, a Guardian who is married with children. It definitely has added a few complications to an already difficult transition. But I think it’s a good idea for him to be trained too. It’s like having two Guardians for the price of one. Plus, having Jake involved helps when I get distracted by recurring visions of a mysterious and sexy woman in a red dress.
As Book 2 of That Guardian Series, this is not a standalone story. Please take the time to read The Chosen One, My Ass! before you continue on Miranda’s journey. The Chosen…Two is an irreverent, sarcastic, and sexy urban fantasy.

Before Miranda was The Chosen One, Joanna carried the mantle.
The sexy student teacher from my senior history class just asked me to lunch to celebrate my graduation! I've never had many friends, or any really, so I don't have any other exciting plans today. But lunch turns out to be anything but celebratory and I soon learn just why he is so interested in me.
Joanna is smarter, more beautiful, and more mature than any of her classmates. Oh, and with my help, she's going to be a superhero. I just can't let my deeper feelings for her get in the way of her training, or our safety.
When her world turns upside down, can Miranda find strength in her family?
While grieving my tremendous loss, I cannot rest until I find a murderer and protect my children from losing me. But when the League sends a rep to observe our training, I’m forced to give up my vengeance and return to my kids, who need me as much as I need them. I left them with George to protect them, but I never realized the danger lurking around all of us.
I agreed to watch Miranda’s children because this family needs me. But I can’t keep putting my own desires on hold too. Then again, with the League breathing down both our necks and now setting their eyes on Miranda’s kids, especially Jessie and Phoebe, I’m going to have to make a decision soon about whom I’m loyal too—the League my father loved or my Guardian and her kids.
With Mom away hunting monsters, I’ve had to grow up quickly. But I can handle that. I’ve always been a rock, and my siblings need me right now, especially Phoebe. I just didn’t expect to start growling and my eyes glowing red, as if high school isn’t hard enough.
I haven’t been able to sleep since Daddy died. I didn’t think I’d ever smile again. But getting wings and flying has given me a new sense of purpose, and I’m finally finding my place. If only I could be as strong as Jessie too.
